Although the primary value proposition of crypto apps is asset ownership and tradability, most of these dApps are hosted on centralized cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. This reliance undermines the concept of true decentralization, as these dApps depend on centralized servers. If a major provider were to shut down their servers, users would lose access to the protocol—this concern extends to AI features and more.
With this in mind, Accelar developed a protocol capable of connecting CrossFi with AI and computational tools, paving the way for the first computational network resource controlled by decentralized organizations on CrossFi.
The Akash network is a blockchain that operates within the Cosmos infrastructure as a decentralized compute marketplace. Through a network of providers that bid on deployment orders, users can submit their deployment requirements as a Docker container along with the amount they are willing to bid. If the deployment is successful, the user gains access to their service hosted on a decentralized network.
Accelar protocol connects with Akash by creating a specific Akash address on the TOAA oracle, which manages the deployments. This address also has access to the public and private keys necessary for sending the lease after the deployment is complete.
Through this integration, the TOAA establishes a modular connection with the Cosmos SDK, enabling Akash to broadcast transactions. The deployment order is processed using the Stack Definition Language (SDL) interface, a user-friendly standard for declaring deployment attributes.
By connecting with the DPL contract, the oracle reads the deployment order created in DPL and forwards it to the Akash network, managing the bidding workflow and lease selection.
Upon success, the oracle executes the minting process on DPL to issue the wrapped token linked with the deployment (aclDepin).
